Where to open in admin

  1. Log in to Admin.
  2. Open sidebar menu Accounting Pro.
  3. Click Assets · Fixed Assets.
  4. Direct route (for admins): admin/accounting_pro/accounting_pro_fixed_assets

What this screen is for

Register fixed assets and run depreciation postings.

How to use — step by step

  1. Create asset with cost, useful life, and GL accounts.
  2. Run depreciation for the period (monthly/annual).
  3. Review posted depreciation journals.
  4. Process disposal/sale when asset is retired.

  • Run depreciation
  • Dispose asset
  • Post journal

Required permissions

Staff need the accounting_pro_fixed_assets feature with: view, create, edit, delete, dispose.

Assign under Setup → Staff → Roles → Permissions.
