Where to open in admin

  1. Log in to Admin.
  2. Open sidebar menu Accounting Pro.
  3. Click Close · Financial Periods.
  4. Direct route (for admins): admin/accounting_pro/accounting_pro_financial_periods

What this screen is for

Control accounting periods and year-end closing.

How to use — step by step

  1. Define fiscal years and periods.
  2. Close periods to prevent back-dated postings.
  3. Run year-end closing entries as guided by the wizard.
  4. Open new year only after closing checklist is complete.

  • Reopen (admin)

Required permissions

Staff need the accounting_pro_financial_periods feature with: view, lock, reopen, close.

Assign under Setup → Staff → Roles → Permissions.
